Loved the lobby area. My whole family loved the amazing breakfast!
The beds were comfortable and the central air was nice, it's also a good central spot for travel. Wasn't very user friendly. Pool is was too shallow, and there's little ventilation in there. Not much to keep you at the hotel enjoying yourself. It's more or less there just for the convention center and travelers. Not exactly going all out for the tourist. Parking is not free.
Very clean & comfortable. Extremely friendly staff. We will definitely return.
The hotel connected to the Embassy Theater, and all events for the NABBA championship were easily accessible. The food was mediocre at best (stale bread, powdered eggs, burnt coffee), and the water had a funky smell. The shower left me itching for the entire stay. I'm certain that it was the water because I used the same soap, shampoo, and other products that I use at home. We were told that Fort Wayne experiences the water phenomenon after a quick snow melt, but it was very inconvenient. Downtown Fort Wayne loses points for being a ghost town much of the time. We saw very few people walking around, and lots of empty buildings. All of the businesses closed early. Bars stopped serving food or closed altogether by the time our events were done, and there were no 24-hour drug stores in the vicinity.
