comfy bed,liked the separate lounge area,good room service,friendly staff A/c in bar was way too cold,doors to suites were very noisy in the morning the slamming woke me up when people left(maybe a bit of padding?)
Very pleasant, friendly, courteous, helpful, professional staff willing to go out of their way to be of service. Our room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. We had a nice view from our balcony of the inter-coastal waterway and all of the boats and yachts passing by. Our stay was very pleasant from start to finish. Sliding door to balcony made a grinding noise when it was opened and we could hear the door above and below opening from time to time during the evening. The doors just need a little maintenance. For some reason the cleaning staff was short wash cloths a couple of days and we had to call to get them delivered to our room.
Was only there one night. Barely in the room. Nothing bad to say
The suite had everything on my wish list, compements to the staff who were more than helpful. It was further from the beach than I thought,
We stayed at Gallery one prior to boarding the Eurodam at Port Everglades. The hotel was a wonderful way to bridge the time from work to vacation. The location on the intercoastal, and its position as a stop for the water taxi, made the hotel a real treat. The nearby Galleria Mall was extremely convenient.
Nothing at all . Poor raining and wait about 1,5 hours for check in due that the electrical system was down. Pretty bad for a chain of Hotel like that. Furthermore no internet connection work ... is good that exist some Panera Bread store in the area .. at least I was able to check e-mail and have a good breakfast. Next time I will stay in Miami. Unfurtunately nothing.
Right on the waterway in Ft. Lauderdale
Everything was great - the service staff was incredible! the suite was gorgeous and very clean - loved it! Will definitely be staying there again! The only problem was the gym - it's way too small and claustrophobic. For a hotel this size - they need to expand this - I tried 4 times to use the gym and it was full - holds about 10 people comfortably.

I loved the duvet and cookies on arrival!!! and the concierge was just so helpful. The room was really nice, the website doesn't do it justice and the room service was excellent, food was great. oh and the breakfast was fab! Marie on reception was so helpful, she ordered us a transfer service to sawgrass mills for $70 round trip for the 2 of us. I thought this was great- thanks Marie! There was nothing about the hotel I didn't like. I would stay here again however I would hire a car, even though there are some things close by, we were a little tied unless we took a taxi and they are fairly expensive in Fort Lauderdale. The hotel had a fixed rate service called ATS which were brilliant and much cheaper.
We came here after leaving our first hotel. Great location, clean, comfortable and great view of the channel. Valet could be a little less.
Very warm welcome from the reception staff on arrival (the 'welcome' cookies are highly recommended!) and equally impressive service from the valet, bar and restaurant staff. The room (double suite with 2xqueen sized beds) was very clean and homely - exactly like the photo's posted on the hotel website! The water taxi to Fort Lauderdale beachfront and Las Olas Boulevard stops directly outside the rear of the hotel and is an excellent facility for guests who don't have use of a car and, with the commentary provided by the staff on board, it's also a great opportunity to learn a little more about the area on route to your stop! Order the Doubletree burger - tasting is believing! Only one minor criticism - having been asked to provide a credit card to secure the booking (by booking.com) and again on arrival at the hotel(i.e. two different credit cards), it's not good practice to assume the bill would be settled by credit card without checking the preferred method of payment with the guest first (which on this occasion, would've been cash). While the 'express check out' service is a great idea, this had all done by reception very early on the day of our departure (we were up at7.30am and the receipt had already been pushed under the door!) I would have preferred the hotel to ask me how the bill would be settled and if not by cash, to check that the card provided at check in, was the card to be charged.
