Our stay at Extended Stay America- Orange County/Cypress was great! Henry at the front desk was so helpful. He called for our Taxi's and answered all our questions. There was another gentleman at the front desk too that was great! Upon check out..Again, I didn't get her name either but she was sweet and even gave us a discount! All in all everyone there was extremely polite and helped us with every need. A very nice housekeeper took very good care of us. I enjoyed our stay and will and have told others about our experience. We will definitely be using you for our future trips! Thanks for making us feel right at home! Sincerely, Michael & Jayne LaFavor Maybe some stronger coffee. But everything was else was most satisfying.
Location was very convenient for where I was working and my room was spacious and very comfortable. Nice gym for a hotel also. Couldn't of been more happy with my stay! Nothing
Comfortable room, charging outlets on nightstand lamps Hallway and elevator smelled like a sewer and could hear various noises from room.
Everyone on staff was so very nice, pleasant and eager to please. I have come to stay at this location every year for the last 2 years on Christmas and love everything about the team and the hotel. Keep up the great work!
Staff was great, place was clean and quiet. The location was alright, probably 5-10mins drive to go out and eat, shop and stuff. It is a great place if you're on a business trip, not really for families and kids.
The location is in a business type complex, very quiet and just the right distance away from the main road. I was pleasantly surprised when we walked through the doors. The lobby looks modern, they have a convenience store, they have restaurant/bar that plays the major games and they even have a interactive panel that shows you a feed of news, weather reports and even a flight status checker. The room was fairly nice and very clean. We stayed in the junior suite or something like that. Upon entry, there was a cool couch, nice desk and TV in the front room. Then through the shuttered door is the bedroom and bathroom. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but I didn't wake up with back pain either. The bedroom has a nice sized TV in it. The bathroom is fine, but the tub is too shallow for a bath (if that's what you want). There is a full sized mirror right across from the closet. Of all things, I really liked the wallpaper in the room. I felt the wallpaper was newer and nicer than the 4-star diamond resort I stayed in the week before. While that won't matter to some people, it really sets the tone of the room for others. Also, there are outlets everywhere...huge plus! Overall, I would definitely stay here again. The only downside was that our room had a view of the wall. I didn't go here to stay indoors, so I didn't really care.
Clean, quiet and nice view Nothing
The staff was amazing It was great there was nothing I didnt like
The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was super helpful. Full service from all employees 24/7 no matter what I asked I got help. I spent a week there with young kids and everybody was great.
Everything else is great. Bath room ventilation
Staff & clean room
Our room was always cleaned if we left late for the day. Front desk was very helpful.
The bed. The ice maker on my floor was not working and the in room coffee was not good quality plus no tea was offered.
Nice room off the beaten path. When extending one extra night, they wouldn't honor the Kayak price. It was a Sunday night. He said that I would have to check out and check back in. I ended paying his price of $5.00 more.
Nothing. Police were in the parking lot for hours due to a bad guest. The sleeper was broken. The manager harassed me about taking yogurt back to my room from the continental breakfast. he said I would spill and attract ants and food was not allowed in the rooms. Harassed us about checking out at 1040 when check out wad at 11. Terrible service.
Free parking Nothing
Loved everything about this hotel! Place looked brand new and up to date. Staff was so friendly. Everyone greeted us and was so helpful. Breakfast was great too. I even told the staff how wonderful they were and that I would come back again.
Very nice hotel. I thought I lost my sun glasses. Staff was very helpful and even gave me 2 call backs to let me know they had looked but couldn't find them. I thought that was very nice. Room was very clean and spacious. Bathrooms were clean and spacious also. Beds were very comfortable. I will definitely stay there again when I go to the amusement parks such as Disneyland or Knotts Berry Farm. Food line for omelette took a long time.
Room size, proximity to KBF and Disney Bed was very uncomfortable, and very shaky!
Nothing! I booked a king room they gave me a double queen saying it was kayaks fault. The matresses are rocks. The fire alarm went off in our room only in the middle of the night, about 2am, and when we called down stairs to remedy the issue security was sent to investigate US, if I wanted to smoke I would have chosen a room that allowed smoking but my husband and I are not smokers. The next morning house keeping woke us up around 8am in the morning trying to clean the room we startled her because she said "they" told her we had already checked out but we obviously had not and check out was not until 12pm. Worst experience ever with a "nice" hotel. We will never go back!
Right next door to Knott's The whole property looks like it hasn't been updated since the early 90's... probably because it hasn't. The rooms are kinda ugly. The walls are paper thin. Room service is a joke (screwed up our breakfast order three different ways). The staff can't be bothered. Stay elsewhere and pay extra to park at Knott's. You'll be glad you did.
I was given a waived parking fee for being military regardless of the disappointment that there was no military discount except jan/Dec time frame. Bed was comfy too. And hardly heard much. The amber waves restaurant was closed but the bar was open and the sign was up saying please wait to be seated and the hostess/employee at the front looked at us with a puzzled look and asked what we needed. I felt stupid. There should very been a closed sign up
Its average hotel. Needs refurbishing. Its not 4star.
It is clean and quiet. The restaurant needs a makeover. Gordon Ramsay could help this kitchen nightmare.
Found a room for a great price a few hours prior to arrival. Located right next to Knott's Berry Farm. Bed was comfy. Room needs updating Plan ahead if using room service for breakfast. We made the mistake of ordering at 9am, which is an hour before the park opens... it took nearly an hour for food to arrive... food was meh. Bring swim stuff. Great pool area for kids... splash pad was nice item to differentiate itself from other hotels. Overall good value for our needs Overall the hotel is in a state of disrepair. Just little things really, stains on curtains, dents on walls, spots on fixtures.
How close it was to Knott's. The beds were hard and the walls were thin but overall it was bad for the price.
Great location, discounts on park tickets and parking. Rooms were not as nice as I would have expected from Knott's Hotel. More like a Motel 6
Staff friendly and helpful. Conveniently located next to both Knott's parks and Medieval Times and Pirates. Rooms small and hot. Needed to run the AC full time because my wind directly faced the sun.
Price was right, location was right. I thought the lobby would use some sprucing up. It was very bland. Even some potted plants or something to brighten it up. The room was fine, bathroom sink area was very small, hard for 3 people to get ready in the morning. Tried to take a bath, but the stopper was broken. It was fun to be able to walk to the Knott's boardwalk. Not sure if I would stay there again, but it wasn't bad.
All that we hoped it would be, nice space for two folks with pull out couch, nice tvs, all good
The complimentary breakfast had a great selection, the food we ordered from their restaurant was good and the pool area had a very tropical feel to it. The rooms had a very homey feel to them and very private I reserved the room through Kayak and it took over 20 minutes to find my reservation. We ordered room service on our first day there and they told us to leave the dishes outside our door and they would pick them up....they stayed out there for 2 days
really needs deep cleaning and update
I LOVED the way the entire staff went above and beyond to make all of our special requests absolutely special. My Girlfriend actually closed the room door before getting her roses out and Satya (housekeeper) let her in to get them and was very very sweet about it. Thank You All!! We had a great time. No, everything was great but we just could not find the ice machines.
Friendly staff, good sized rooms and close to the action. Couldn't find a corkscrew after 9.
Location can get loud at times, especially when Medevil Times is getting out.
We reserved a suite. the room contained two full beds with a stitting room. they were well eqipped with a small kitchen area, microwave, single serve coffee pot and fridge. Although there were some stains on the carpet, the room was clean overall the room was a bit dated. The spanish style was pretty, but it seemed like they hadn't changed much since the nineties. the beds were kind of hard. They had mattress pads but it was obvious that the mattresses were cheap. There was a breakfast buffet but it is not necessarily included with your hotel stay. We had to wait because they didn't have us on the list for free breakfast, even though i know it was included when i reserved the room. The food wasn't anything special that it needed an additional price tag. For the price I would have expected a lot more. Also, the doors to the rooms are glass, so we could hear a lot from the pool area. also, the floors seemed thin. My two year old was running and I couldn't help but think that the people down below were probably hearing it. There was a sign in the front window that they are going to be under new ownership, so hopefully that means that there will be some needed upgrades
The bed squeaked, tv didnt work, bath was moldy, room need some major tlc and renovation
location the place is a dump
The location is great! Very centrally located to Knotts Berry Farm and Disneyland. Also the mini fridge in the room was great to have because my boyfriend and I would make lunch to take to the park and it was nice to not have to keep lunch meat in the cooler. I didn't realize that they still made beds so uncomfortable. I felt a bit like the guy from the mattress commercial that wakes up with the red bullseye of pain radiating in his back. Also the "complimentary breakfast" is just cheap coffee in the lobby. My boyfriend went in to grab is some and we ended up just dumping it out and going to Starbucks.
it was a nice place
The night receptionist was fast courteous and efficient. The morning staff was abrasive and dismissive. The room was disgusting, and I don't mind staying at hostels. The floor was so dirty that after my shower and I walked around a bit I had to rewash my feet before I got into bed. There was also a bug in the fridge.
Sink and tub faucets were defective. Air-conditioning was defective. Towels felt like sandpaper.
They have very competitive weekly rates. The staff is very rude... And they are bothered by people that have children. Surprising since its across the street from knotts berry farm. Never staying here again, there are much nicer hotels for this price range within a mile radius.
Courteous staff. Moldy bathrooms. Peeling wallpaper. Hair on pillow.
Room was nice and clean when I first arrived. Check-in and out was easy. During the day parking was good. And the hotel is right next to Knott's Berry Farm, Soak city, the Buena Park Mall, and just a 5 minute drive from Disney. Definitely a great price for the area and good hotel. Parking got filled up at night, had to park in the back. the view wasn't anything special, it was of a dirt lot and cruddy rundown store. Maid service never came to clean the room or change the bed. We could hear everything in the room next to us at 5am. Including the persons cell phone ring, there conversation, and fighting. The smoke detectors went off randomly in our Neighbors room and our own. When checking out the guy at the desk was on his cell phone and just took the room key, he didn't bother to ask how our stay was.
The closeness to the theme park which we visited in our trip. It was literaly a walk away.
The only reason why I stayed after seeing the room is because I didn't want to lose my money. I did not feel safe at this place. The carpets were not cleaned it appeared, for years.
I liked the cleanliness of the room and the pool and hot tub. Everything was very clean. I did not like the service, day time was very unprofessional and after hours/owners were not friendly. We called ahead to request flowers etc be brought in, and the answer wasn't even, "can we give you some phone numbers for delivery?" The answer was, "no. We don't do that." Not how we anticipated spending our 7th anniversary. Also their afterhours security gate has a metal tab sticking outinto the hallway... Not highlighted, and is actually the same color as the wall... In any case I now have a deep bruise and near fracture on my hand because I didn't see it, and walked right into it.
I liked that the room was clean and had a refrigerator and microwave. I did not like that there were mattresses outside the lobby. It made my first impression of the hotel very bad. Also, the staff were not friendly when checking in or asking questions and I was ignored a few times.
Only that it was close to Knotts .... The entire stay was terrible, noisy, dirty, smelly, and not very pleasant totally
it was clean and quiet and close to knotts berry farm. breakfast menu was a bit sparse.
the convenience of the location to other businesses in the area the claim of wireless internet access I could not access
Nothing at all!!! Oh wait maybe that it was 10 miles away from the beach. Oh yes I did not like any of the staff they were very rude and did not understand half of anything you said. ALso the manager (rude) gave out my room key I guess they thought we had checked out? Lol who knows but we were only there a day and reserved two nights. They just gave our key to some random people and it just so happend my lap top got stolen right along with my purse. But thank god the cops came let us watch cameras and just happend to catch that the people were still staying in the hotel and got our stuff back. After spending three hours looking at cameras on my vacation! So if you want the staff to just give your room key out and let your personal belongings get ransacked threw you go ahead and stay there! K! I will never go back
The location is great. Directly across from Knotts Berry Farm and only 6 min away from Disneyland! The hotel in general looks old and rundown. There were a couple of roaches in the room. The pillow cases smelled of cigarettes. Housekeeping refused to change the pillow cases. There was only 1 pillow per queen size bed. When we requested additional pillows we were given 1 for each bed. Pillows were flat and old. All in all I would not stay there again.
Friendly staff, clean room, clean bathroom, pretty up to date, close to attractions. No personal valuables safe in room clean but extremely small fitness nook/room
From the moment I walked past the glass door and into the Lobby area I was in love with the decour. The lobby area was beautiful and spacious. There was a snack room dining tables to our left and a bar/ restaurants right there. Once you continue to walk further into the Lobby you'll notice there is a computer area which all guests area allowed to use to surf the web or print. Next to that was more seating areas. There was a beautiful fire place area outside that was surrounded by comfortable seats. There is a big pool and jacuzzi. The bed was super comfortable and I loved the water pressure in the shower. Moreover, it is near everything so it was very convenient. It's surrounded by Medieval Times, Knotts Berry Farm, The Bodies Exhibit, Restaurants, The mall is down the street, etc... The outside of the Hotel was dirty. There were a lot of leaves everywhere in the driveway area. This needed some serious cleaning As soon as I walked into the Hotel my opinion changed however. The rooms were a lot smaller then the pictures showed. Our room did not have a balcony which upset me but we did arrive before our check int time so maybe that was the reasoning behind that. The jacuzzi and the gym were in tiny rooms and everytime I intended to go into either one it was crowded. They only gave us 3 towels.
Close to tourist spots Coming from the south must make a u-turn on busy street to enter parking lot.
Stay was Awesome Excellent Customer Service!!!! I liked how when I called Front Desk about not having a microwave and how it said my room included microwave I was informed that it was available upon request and one would be delivered to my room right away and literally as I hung up phone I received a knock at the door that microwave had arrived and they set up. Great friendly staff!!!!
The pool was great. The courtesy shuttle was free & the bell captains were very accommodating & dropped us off where we requested within a useful radius. The onsite shop was very handy. Check in & check out was fast. The hallway & carpets are looking a bit old & worn.
Location only The room stated non smoking and the room smelled like smoke horrible review
I didn't like the hidden fees upon check in.
Rooms could have been cleaner especially bathroom and tub. Construction to balcony incovenient to getting to the room. and really no wear to put the clothes unless you hung some of them.
Staff is always nice. Rooms are always neat and clean. Very good facility and stay for the price. Sometimes things are broken. On this particular stay, the tub faucet dripped water when it was off, the tub drain cover was detached, and one of the outlets (the most important one by the bed) didn't work. I know they just remodeled the rooms here, which they look nice, but they should've added those lamps with the outlets on there.
Clean and spacious Thicker bed comfortable, refrigerator, and updated TV with more channels
I was left alone. I tried to shorten my stay due to an emergency and had to cut a day; your staff basically told me oh well, too bad.
Rooms were clean, large, & sparse. Wifi was very slow.
Loved the location. Literally right next door to knotts berry farm and there was a mall across the street as well. Staff was awesome and rooms were super CLEAN. That's all I could ask for. The souvenir shop was never open.
It was comfortable, clean and spacious. It was reasonably price for being so close to Knotts Berry Faem & Disneyland!! N/A
Nothing this place is gross and the grounds are dirty and broken down Rooms are dirty tv's are old and broken changed my room 3 times pictures are fuzzy and the screen is green I didn't feel safe staying there the maid kept coming in the room for no reason
Breakfast was great employees were nice and courteous the rooms were clean and parking was easy and right in front of my room What i didnt like was the tv it was outdated and the cable sucks got like 8 channels terrible
The bed was comfortable. There was no comforter on the bed, instead there was a warm blanket between 2 sheets. I really liked that, knowing that hotels are not required to wash their comforters. The walls were thin and could here the people next door getting busy at 4 in the morning. The shower was AWFUL, there was no pressure, midway through the shower I was ankle deep in water, half of the pressure was coming out of the faucet rather than the shower head and the shower head was old and crusted over with calcium. The breakfast was lack luster
i was told you could check in @ anytime but when i got there check in was @ 3pm. The man @ the front desk was very rude
Location and breakfast Noisy A/C. Dirty carpet and bathroom
I liked that the beds were comfortable and very clean. There was almost no wifi service. We were towards the back, far away from the front desk and the wifi can't reach that far so there was no wifi service for us. Not a big deal but we were located in the middle of Los Angeles and we had no phone service. There were 12 of us in our group and each with different cell service and nobody had phone connection. We could make calls but no data for internet. It was very frustrating since some of us had work to do.
The location was great The room smelled slightly of urging and we were told breakfast was until 10 we arrived at 9:03 and were told they were done she was very rude
The price was good. We needed a place to stay while our house was being tented for termites. I made the reservation but when my wife tried to check in during the day (I was still at work) they wouldn't let her because she didn't make the reservation. We have the same last name and she has the same credit card that I used on the reservation and they still wouldn't let her check in. She sat in the lobby for 2 hours until I could get off work and get to the hotel. WiFi was not good. Had difficulty connecting and once connected it was very slooooow. The TV would constantly display a message that it had lost its signal. Very difficult to watch a TV program when you miss 5 second blocks every couple of minutes The alarm clock crackled every time the bed moved. Found out after the first night that bed was pressing on the plug in the outlet.
Nice big room with great facilities, wifi, water machine in the lobby. Good tv. Big king size bed. Having a microwave and refrigerator was great. Could not change the input of the TV with the remote to hook up my laptop. But I could do it on the TV set. Rooms are a bit older, up keep was decent though. Location had very little in easy walking distance. Everything accessanle by car. But hey, that's LA.
Breakfast has waffles. Staff friendly & helpful. Near Theme-Parks, Theatre-Dinner-Shows, reasonable & kind-hospitable-restaurants like Sizzler & 24Hr.-NORMS, Target-store OPEN late by Beach Blvd. & if that's taken South that street goes 2 Beaches @ Pacific Ocean & Coast Highway (a LOVEly-Drive)! Somex daily rates can b high depending on Corporate HQ & how high the occupancy. Wish complimentary Breakfast lasted til 10am like some hotels. It is an older hotel/Inn w/noisy AC, but it is well kept up & HoJo hotels been since 1925!! Views r of business-bldgs. & Storage.
Service: Excellent. They let us check in a full hour early which was lovely because we were exhausted. Everyone we encountered was friendly. Rooms: Clean. Nothing fancy, but for $40 a night we got more than we paid for. Plus free WiFi! I've paid more for hotel and was still expected to pay for internet access. The mini fridge was bigger than expected and clean as well. I didnt use the microwave but it looked as if it was in good order. Breakfast: Pretty darn good for being free! They had waffles but I'm a cereal person. The coffee was tasty! Pool & Hot Tub: Also clean and well maintained! Overall: I couldn't be happier. This was a very nice place for the price and the service was excellent. I have nothing but good things to say about it.
I loved the location that was a plus, and the staff was very friendly, the breakfast was ok but i would put more of a variety of food to choose from. Well our pillows kept disappearing, we stayed 3 nights and started of with 4 pillows on each bead by the 3rd night we only had 2 pillows a bed. Also our bathroom had new towels but they where very dingy
Friendly staff, clean room, location. We had to go to front desk ever day for new keys, $50 incidental charge but not per night which was good, spa really small.
Pricing Rooms were very clean Even though we didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel it was nice and quiet when we did. Unless I didn't read the fine print but their $100 deposit was a surprise.
The pool. How close it was to Disneyland. Overall was pretty gross. The towels had makeup stains from previous guests. We got bites at night from the sheets. The room/bathroom was poorly cleaned.
The clean room. All around the hotel. They didn't inform me about $25. Hold. They didn't give me a room on 3rd floor. When I got a text saying no problem.
Stayed there about a year ago, it was no frills but clean.. Now its worse. A little dirtier. We wont stay here again.
Nice Clean hotel, quiet, close enough to Disney and Knotts Didn't offer breakfast, called front desk to ask for wake up call and never received it.
Nothing but coffee.
The room was clean and comfortable. I was upgraded to a room with a refrigerator at no extra charge. The front desk person was very nice. I stayed at this hotel for about a week while I was having plumbing problems worked on at my home, so this was not leisure or business, essentially just using the hotel to have a place to shower at, and I never did sleep there so I wanted a relatively cheap hotel. The hotel is actually right next to a few eating places that we had frequented, so I felt like I knew the area and it was okay. Well, I was wrong about that. I would say it did not feel safe to go in and out of at night. Right outside the entry door, which you must use if you are using the elevator, they have a few benches for a smoking area. In the evening there was always a group of 3 to 4 people who hung out there to smoke and drink. They appeared as though they were living at this hotel. I got the feeling this was a hotel people stay at that are otherwise homeless, which isn't bad, but didn't feel comfortable either for a family. I would have never stayed here for an actual vacation. One night as I went out to my car, there was a man doing something from the trunk of his car next to mine, and he had left his drivers door open which made it impossible for me to get to my door. His lady friend was sitting inside the car, and obviously extremely high. I just wanted to get into my car and go, he started yelling and screaming at me that I shouldn't have parked so close to him. Obviously, I was not that close, he was able to leave his door fully opened up. It was very intimidating and scary, I have never had someone just start yelling at me like that before for no real reason, that I didn't even know, so creepy. This was an emergency stay, it was cheap, and as they say, you get what you pay for, but I won't be going back and am thankful I have a home to go to at the end of the day.
It was quite. We got a room where car was close by. It was a good neighborhood. Walmart Target. Dennys.. Are all close by. The AC unit leaked...
I liked that the staff was kind The tv channels didn't work you had to put the channel in. Also the beds where rock hard they where the same as sleeping on the floor.
It's cheap, parking is free, staff is nice, and the rooms are just right What's not to like?
Close to Knotts Berry Farm Friendly Staff Great Rates Quiet CLEAN New AC system Looks better maintained then other motels in the area Dated decor (to be expected for the $) Bathroom vent didn't work Was clean ,but there was hair from the housekeeper everywhere
Service is excellent and the guy was friendly and helpful...thanks! Nothing....all is good...
I had already paid for my room online, but when I got there, they did not accept my netspend card which was the same card I used to get the room. That posses me off.
Room smelled like Pine Sol - dirty tub (hair in tub!) filthy carpet.
Clean place... new paint, over all a decent place to sleep. Front desk person (male) was rude when we asked if we could have a later check out being that we unexpectedly checked in at 4am..and his reply was " well thats not my problem" was just flat out rude. Regular check out was 11am- we only needed a hour being that we had 2 small little ones with us ..he ended up allowing the later check out but was rude about it.
The location and the rooms were amazing.
Easy to access internet. Clean room. Breakfast was juice, coffee, toast, big oranges, big apples and some bread. Easy to use ice machine. I like this inn.
The location was very close to the attractions I wanted to visit The morning breakfast, needed more variety
It was close to our destination. Staff was helpful. Misrepresented on website - pool is extremely small; family suite does not have kitchen facilities only a small microwave and mini-fridge; tubs need resurfacing; carpet was so dirty our feet turned black.
When you arrive you automatically have a feeling of discomfort. The actual room looked recently updated and done well. I booked a nonsmoking room, that meant nothing. When I opened the door to the room I was hit with a very very strong stench of smoke. I usually bring my own shampoo and bathroom toiletries but forgot them, unfortunately this establishment doesn't have or offer any of these items that every hotel I have ever been to has. The staff was awful, the only thing worst was the creatures that have seemingly moved into the hotel and makes you question the safety of yourself and car. The room looked renovated
The free breakfast, the shuttle to disneyland and the breakfast staff, they were very friendly. room was a bit crowded
the room was clean, quiet and easy to get to. After traveling all day we really just wanted a nice comfortable room...that's what we got.
Comfortable beds, Free internet, helpful staff Breakfast wasn't very good. Very busy not enough choice available and only 2 staff on duty.
Adilene was very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was decent and the room was very clean! The beds and pillows made it feel like sleeping on a cloud! Our second stay here and will definitely stay again! It is mostly geared towards families staying that go to disneyland and this time we stayed there seemed to be a group of younger people there to get drunk. At breakfast a few mornings they were sitting next to us cursing a LOT. We had to tell our younger daughter to cover her ears. Also I recommend getting to breakfast super early if you want to enjoy your food without all the chaos. People go nuts over free cereal and eggs apparently.
Good value for your money, immaculate facility, comfortable beds, friendly staff, excellent location, close to various restaurants & shopping. Best of all........wonderful setup for a Family Suite! Two double beds with one bath & large TV in main room and separate bedroom with one King bed and its' own bathroom & large tv......also Free Internet. We usually stay at an Embassy Suites whenever we travel, but none was available in this area. This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. If this is typical of Hamptons, think we'll now seek these out from now on. No exhaust vent in second bathroom of a family suite. All doors in room stuck....had to push or pull hard to open or close. Definitely not enough seating in breakfast room. Extremely crowded and not enough staff available to replenish the foods they kept running out of. Suggest they provide larger setups of all the food selections offered, thereby serving more guests more efficiently and eliminating the constant congestion surrounding the buffet. Early arrivals received scrambled eggs with diced ham...........but those guests who arrived a little later were offered frozen scrambled eggs in the form of a 'pancake' which must have been thawed in a microwave because they were partially cold & very watery. No meat of any kind was offered.
Close to Disneyland and many stores, free parking and internet.
Had a great stay at the Hampton Inn. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the fact when I checked in, the hotel didn't show I had a reservation. I'm not sure what happened but I showed the paperwork from Booking.com showing I booked. We were lucky they had rooms available. I would stay there again but I wouldn't book off of Booking.com.
Was close to knotts but not Disneyland. Disappointed since sure said it was 1 mile away.
only the price I was extremely disappointed. This was close to Knotts but not Disney. I asked for non smoking because I was traveling with kids but our room wreaked of cigarettes. Rooms were tiny & the parking lot was always full & difficult to park. After 9 pm the motel was full of shady individuals walking around being loud. This would last up until about 2am. This was the first hotel I have stayed at that I didn't feel safe.
The fact that is was close to where we wanted to go is the only real good thing I can say. The rooms were to small, the beds uncomfortable, but for the price you aren't going to do any better elsewhere.
Please write at least 15 words
it was cheap. it was not very clean, the room smell like smoke, poor service, and the toilet was broken.
Front desk was rude. Was told to check in after 1400, when we timed our trip to get there at 1400, we were told the room would not be ready till 1530. Ice machines were inop.
It was a decent location and it was clean. Even though I had prepaid when I arrived the desk said they didn't have a room, only a smoking room. I had to negotiate for over 10 minutes about my confirmed reservation. Then finally a manager came over and said they would rearrange guests. I said I don't want to put anyone out of their room, they said some people hasn't checked in yet...wait? What? I had a prepaid room and yet had to argue to get it? The rooms air conditioner made a loud noise from a broken panel so we put a suitcase to stop it from wobbling. Then the fan in the bathroom didn't work so the room was steamy. I will never return.
Close to the freeway Close to different food places Bed wasnt a queen size like it said it was No ice in ice maker
The price No maid service if you dont leave early
People are fun and helpful To short of stay
The staff was so nice. TV was out to date beds where hard as a rock there is no difference between the bed and the floor.
House keeping was done well. there was free breakfast and lobby computer was a bonus. i guess we got what we paid for. our room smelled of smoke and chlorine even though we dont smoke and didnt swim in the pool our entire stay. location too close to freeway and walls too thin. I would not pay more than 55 dollars a night
no hot water one day
Young couple from So Cal staying and attending the Pirates Dinner Adv. Basic motel. Was surprised with the price because at the time it was the same as others like Howard Johnson, Knights Inn, Travelodge, etc. especially for the location. Only stayed a night but it was a comfortable stay. Had a fridge, but no microwave or coffee pot which was fine for us and I don't believe it was in the description anyway. Breakfast consisted of cereal, juice, toast, & muffins. At check in the clerk said breakfast was served every morning but be honest for a Days inn I thought it would be a more...complete? breakfast option then what was listed. Anywho, if in the area again and price was the same I'd stay again. Nothing really to complain about.
I liked the location and have been getting a great price thru kayak. Although this weekend the price has doubled Nothing. It serves it's purpose
The bed was amazing. It was king size and it was perfect for myself, boyfriend and 5 year old son. I liked that there was a fridge and microwave. It was in handy since our visit was for Disneyland. It is only 10 mins away from Disneyland. I would recommend staying here. Towels were rough
very reasonable price, close to the interstate. Staff was very rude. Very upset that I would bother them by asking to check in while they were talking on their iphone. housekeeping never showed up. bed covers had holes in it. Room was just old and outdated.
We checked in and went for dinner husband tried to pay he didn't have his card or ID the receptionist didn't give him back his card or Id . We confront the reception n he said speak to manager in the morning. My husband left early to work I stayed so at the time of check out they said my husband had to be there n they made a big deal I spoke to manager she said same thing so my husband called n they argued but she said she wud look into the situation n would call him back but she never called back . Also the noise of the freeway was too much
I LIKED THE QUICK WAY THE STAFF SENT EXTRA TOWLES. GOOD PRICE FOR THE ROOM WASNT CRAZY ABOUT HAVING TO SHOW A COUPON BEFORE YOU WERE ALLOWED TO GET A PASTRY AND COFFEE
THE LOCATION WAS GREAT RIGHT OFF THE FREEWAY WAS EASY TO GET AROUND AND THE ROOMS WHERE ALWAYS CLEAN NOTHING IT WAS A GOOD STAY
