Nice light rooms with good facilities.
convenience for cardiff bay, parking facilities included in room rate suite was extravagantly large - could have been better utilised as a single and a double room
Everything ... it was wonderful!
Comfortable and helpful staff
Comfortable and all of the rooms we booked were near each other. Cost of breakfast is high considering the room prices are also high due to the rugby game.
freindly staff, helpful, the halls and corridors were clean and luvlly and warm. the temperature was -6 at night and 0 day time, so the room was freezin, the heating system does not work well, did ask reception, but the temp 28 did not seem to blow out hot air. we had to put the bath towels on top of the duvet and slept with extra clothes on. i think with better heating yr hotel would be very good. cannot recomend this hotel at moment until yr heating system is improved upon.
the staff were very helpful and the food in the restaurant was lovley we found the room cold.the price of breakfast was very expensive for people who just wanted some toast and tea
Large rooms, comfortable beds, good shower, air conditioning, very clean. No
No room service available
The room and view was excellent I think it would have been nice for breakfast to be included in the price
The easy atmosphere and helpful service.
Location! Jolyon's is in a fabulous spot right near #6 bus which takes you to anything central (Cardiff Castle etc). Behind the hotel on the next street is an HSBC bank with banking machines. Jolyons is right on the Millennium Square accross from Wales Millennium Centre. The room was decorated with love and care. The staff was very friendly and fun. Jolyon provided bath robes, cotton balls, shower caps, an iron, hair dryer, hot chocolate, tea, coffee, lotion and our tub not only had jets but lights as well. Jolyon can cook up a mean breakfast and you get to watch him do it. The best beans you've ever had. We had a great time. The only thing might be a little note on the front door that indicates you should push the small buzzer (button) if you want to talk to someone or register. The button is not obveous because of it's colour. The front door is not left unlocked for you to just walk in and there is no one perminantly posted at a front desk. Guests have cards to get themselves in and out but if you have never been there, you may be confused as to what to do. I wondered as well but finally I saw the button and pressed it. Someone came right away, I was then registered and given the pass card. We grabbed a few complimentary chocolates on the way out.
Very friendly, personable staff. Fantastic cooked breakfast. Very nice rooms.
Kindly and efficient staff, proximity to the millennium Centre and to restaurants
the room was very small & basic and seem to be used as an office by hotel staff
Decor of the room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast choice. No lift
Very nice boutique hotel makes a change from the big chains. Far too hot in the bedroom.
the beds the bar and the location
We were given a choice of rooms on arrival by a friendly, helpful, girl. The location in Cardiff Bay was brilliant for exploring and eating out. The bar had run out of such basics as orange juice (it was Monday and they had had a busy weekend!).
Staff late on duty for breakfast on 2 x mornings out of 5!!
