Svært sentralt og bra hotell til en rimelig pris.
Meget sentral beliggenhet, trivelig betjening både i resepsjon, romservise og i frokostsal(all betjening var hyggelig og bra)
Veldig sentral beliggenhet. Nyinnredet, rent og pent. Veldig hyggelig betjening i resepsjonen. Fikk ett veldig godt sommertilbud på pris. Hvis jeg skulle betalt full pris som var listet på hotellrommet ville det vært for dyrt.
Very convenient position close to shops and museums.
Its location in the centre of Bruges is ideal, and the building has a lot of character. The room was spacious and comfortable. The style of decor in the room was bizarre, and needed up-dating.
The view from the room A proper shower fitting would have been nice
An excellent location to the heart o Bruge The staff were slow, and were not friendly to tourists. Rooms were not available until 3pm no tea coffee facilities in the room
It was clean and suited our short stay. It was a beautiful old building, full of character and in an ideal situation for visiting all the sights. The room safe did not work but alternative arrangements were made and the bathroom door did not close properly.
Hotel staffs are great! location is good, hotel room is very comfortable even it's small. bed is comfortable as well.. breakfast is good, nice view by the canel. it must be really nice if go during summer time none
location decor and breakfast
The location was central to all of the sites Brugge has to offer. The mattress had a plastic cover under the sheet similar to a hospital bed. Also the pillows were very old and in need of replacement.
The hotel staff were really helpful from the point we booked and arranged to be there when we arrived on Eurostar from London (just after 11pm). We felt very welcome and were comfortable throughout our long-weekend stay. Everything was good.
The view from the room was excellent, this was the best thing about the hotel, it's location. The staff were not particularly friendly or professional. The manager was better but there was a general feeling that staff did not communicate to one another and of disorganisation. The room we stayed in did not resemble in any way the example pictures shown on the booking.com website; by comparison it was a much lower standard and definitely did not deserve the description 'recently renovated'. On complaining about this we were offered free drinks which we subsequently had to ask for on the last night which felt awkward. For what we paid the room was overpriced and misrepresented.
A nice, comfortable, hotel in a good, central, location. Staff were very efficient and helpful.
1. Good central location 2. Comfort and charm 3. Parking facilities 4. Good lighting, mirrors and hairdryer in room (important for women!) 5. Helpful and attentive staff 6. Cleanliness of room 7. Excellent breakfasts
Location, design, friendly, helpful, luxurious, comfortable No soap in bathroom. Hair dryer not powerful enough. Nice rug but was slippy.
Beautiful hotel and very quiet despite it's central location. Excellent staff with the perfect balance of efficiency and friendliness. Extremely comfortable bed!
I liked everything during my stay at the Martin's Orangerie, especially our room, it's design and cosiness
Your hotel is quite unique in a way, and had a good relaxing feel to it. Classy without being over elaborate. None
Very Nice hotel with good location. Main areas of hotel were pretty and well decorated. Room was clean. There was not a shower in our room! Only a hand held shower in a bath....holding the shower head while trying to wash your hair is not that much fun. For a four star hotel, I expect a decent shower. The carpet in our room was quite old and stained as well, but the rest of the room was very nice.
staff excellent room was at street level
Very nice staff at the recption and also flexible to our needs. Also nice hotel. Nothing at all.
The location is perfect and the staff is nice. There is only free internet in the lobby
Staff is very friendly and welcoming Room is quite spacious and comfortable Breakfast is not bad Location is convenient -3-10 minutes walking from main attractions We got room on the first floor and it was a bit noisy, I beleivesecond floor would be better
the excellent hospitality of the staff the television in room 302 was not working properly
Very friendly staff. Very helpful. Good eating places right next to the hotel .
Location was excellent for sightseeing in Bruges. Breakfast was really nice. Big variety and good quality. Internet connection in the room was not very good.
I got the room for $75/night from the usual $150-200 since it was Monday during the low season. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from the train station and right by the Lake of Love. All major attractions are within an easy 10 minute walk. The wi-fi is terrible. I constantly had one bar (instead of 4) on my iPhone, which made everything extremely slow and unstable. Major frustration.
Ample space, chocolate, friendly staff, bathtub, comfortable beds, decor, great location in the city, attractive and modern
*Excellent* location. Very close to the train station and to the center of the city, but insulated from craziness off a lovely little street leading into a beautiful park. Really a wonderful area. I know this is relatively typical for a European hotel, but the room was tiny. The bed was so narrow I had flashbacks to college. Wonderful bathtub, good thick quiet walls, but just a tiny little room. It's a great place to stay, but I have trouble reconciling $136 with the lack of space in that room.
Freindly and pleasent staff, who were most helpful on all matters.
Great value and superb location
The room was modern, clean and with all the facilities required for a short break. The hotel provided a nice breakfast and the hotel location made it easy to walk to numerous fine restaurants in the evening
Always a good hotel.
As a regular visitor to the hotel the convenience and the general good package offered by the hotel suits my needs
The staff was fabulous. Particularly the front desk staff. There were no drawbacks that we experienced.
Gorgeous hotel just outside the center of Bruges but less than a ten minute walk to the markt. My room had a beautiful view of the city and was very comfortable.
Great position. Good breakfast. Internet access should be free in all four star hotels.
A very good hotel.
hot showers, cooked breakfast cold room on arrival
The hotel is in an excellent location. The room was spacious, very clean and comfortable and good value for money. Only criticism would be no tea/coffee making facilities in room. Breakfast was self service with a wide selection of food. I would not hesitate to use this hotel again.
the fact that it caters for families and has family rooms.
Close to all local attractions friendly helpful staff we smoke so had a smoking room great as the weather was bad No bad points
Very close to center and train station. Ok for what it was.
Very family friendly and central location. Fact that there was not free car parking.
Staff were very helpful. The re-furbished bedroom was very comfortable. We particularly appreciated the tea and coffee-making facilities.
It was nice to have some English channels on the television! Seeing as we were staying with 2 young children, we were confined to our room from 7pm onwards so great to be able to watch something together in English.
Location is central brugge and carparking is under the hotel. The hotel was fantastic I would recommend this hotel as it is very child friendly. Only one complaint was that the hotel restaurant for evening meal is very limited not many tables available as they are ready for breakfast the next morning but the waitress was welcoming and friendly.
Staff, all very helpful...... Decor of the hotel. (Although I undetrstand it is due for a refurb.) Room tempertures were low and not adjustable. (Although staff provided us with a heater.)
all was perfect!!! n
An extremely luxurious and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff and placed in just about the best position for visiting Bruges. Road outside the front rooms overlooking the canal is relatively busy and very noisy at night from cars rumbling over the cobbles.
Had two rooms with family including myself and wife and two children, 6 & 8, and a 21 year old friend. The hotel is one of the best botique hotels I've ever experienced. The staff was great, spoke English which was important for us, the hotel room was incredible and the location is the best in Bruges. Nothing I didn't like but with family I'm glad I got two rooms.
The hotel is ideally located for exploring Bruges' historic centre on foot. The restaurant is excellent and reasonably priced, and there is a roaring fire in the bar. Could find nothing to fault it.
Wonderful property and staff. I'd hate to pay full price, but one of the nicest small charming luxury hotels I have ever stayed at! Will definately return. Brugge and De Tuilerieen the nicest surprise of 2 weeks in europe. Bar could use a couple wonderful beers of Belgium on tap.
location, great price, great clean hotel with own parking nothing we didn't dislike
It was all wonderful. Fairytale setting with friendly and helpful people everywhere. I couldn't stay longer!!
the politness of the staff and the location with car parking no, only that the bath was a bit stained not dirty just stained through age but not a real probnlem as we had a shower
Lovely boutique hotel with very nice large rooms. The staff spoke English and were super friendly and helpful which we appreciated after having just come from Paris. Wish we could have stayed more days to enjoy the spa. I would definitely like to return for a longer stay. Nothing to dislike about this hotel. Everything was perfect. Great value.
The relaxed informal atmosphere, a very welcoming feeling. Nothing was too much trouble. Good advice about where to eat from staff.
The chocolate fountain included as part of the breakfast buffet The room was much smaller and not as luxurious as the photos on the website
The location and the staff
The hotelstaff and location.
location, service, decor, the bed was uncomfortable
An excellent and very comfortable hotel perfectly situated in the ancient center of Brugge. Quiet, very romantic location and hotel. Attentive and friendly service, comfortable and very well kept room with soothing view of a canal. Excellent breakfast. Very good value for money. No, this is a world-class hotel.
One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Everything was just excellent. I am lost for words.....
Excellent location and the staff was 5 STAR, especially Lieven. We will return indoor pool was a bit chilly
Very nice view from the room of the canal.
location - close to ciy's features; parking available; night staff extremely helpful breakfast room for party of four rather gloomy, there was a nice 'conservatory area' but this was set for twos & threes generally but we were able to use it once. The dining 'bistro' was small & disappointing - from hotel description had expected formal dining room of quality...this does no longer exist
The very friendly and relaxed atmosphere, the beautiful furnishings, the superb breakfast-dining room, the quiet canal-side situation: and above all the very helpful staff, on arrival, during our stay, and after our departure lack of a clothes-hook inside the bathroom door
the attentiveness of the staff and the old fashioned decor. The location is wonderful as it is on a canal, in centre of city yet in a very quiet street. Their Pergola restaurant is very good but is very expensive and meal portions are small.
The staff were very friendly and hel[pful. The room was clean, comfortable and a nice design. Breakfast was good. Our stay would have been improved by the provision of coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms.
friendly staff, unique architecture oof the building no hairdryer
Very friendly staff. Hotel located on quite street.
very friendly owner and nice building for a hotel.
the unusualness of the place and friendlnesss of staff the bed was too low
The breakfast and location were great. It was a little noisy at times - the walls were thin.
The location was excellent we never seemed to be more than 5 minutes walk away, and the friendly staff. Nothing we disliked but would have liked tea and coffee making facilities and a mirror in the bedroom.
Open friendly and helpful staff. Relaxed atmosphere.. Proximity to the centre of Brugge The pillow are lumpy. suggest new one.
very central, friendly staff, good continental breakfast, nice view from room, room and hotel had character
The Hotel is a lovely mix of the old and new, it was both interesting and comfortable the staff were execellet very freindly and helpful and the breakfast was lovely The bar was very busy and with our room directly above it(a family room), it was quite noisy but not unbearably so, we all got a good nights sleep
Very freindly and accomodating staff. Beautiful scenic view from the window overlooking the canal
The view from our bedroom window was over the canal and this was very attractive. Frequent boats passing by added to the atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel was right in the centre of the town and was therefore perfect for exploring Bruges. The room was very comfortable and decorated to a high standard. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Altogether this hotel was perfect for our two night stay in Bruges.
We spent one night in Bruges and were lucky enough to discover this fabulous hotel. The hotel is in the perfect location right in the Center of Bruges and on the water. We had gorgeous views from our beautiful room. The hotel is truly luxurious. The owner is an art collector so it was also like staying inside a gallery with some remarkable art. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We will absolutely be back!
Beautiful room and excellent location. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful
very helpful staff, well appointed rooms, central position, very good welcoming restaurant situated away from the hotel.
The price was very high for what is quick a simple, albeit beautiful hotel.
Location' room quality, service
Our room and bathrooom were lovely and comfortable and the staff couldn't have been more helpful.
its a very nice location in the centre . The hotel itself is an atrmosphere of luxury with all the different arts objects. The breakfast is excellent. I would advise anyone booking a room there to ask for "a room with a view". we unfortunately had a kind of basement room although it was at groundlevel.
Good Location. Friendly staff. Quiet Hotel, with excellent ambience
Really a lovely romantic escape on our trip. Every detail was amazing from the many bouquets of flowers everywhere to the robes, towels and bedding. The staff were so nice and helpfu.
Beautiful large room. Very comfortable. Staff very pleasant. Would stay again.
Atmosphere, space, the Art Deco room. This is definitely not for the less-abled but I do realise that the hotel is a protected/listed building.
Nice friendly staff, good breakfast, good location, clean rooms and towels. No electric water kettle and should provide tea bags.
The hotel is very clean and well run, the staff are courteous and efficient. The hotel is everything you would wish for - highly recommended.
The location was the best.We could get out and do everything together and see most of the streets in Bruges at one go. No drinking water
Clean, Warm and friendly. What more can you ask for. Room tastefully decorated with huge double bed.Very good breakfast choice but no cooked other than boiled egg. Unlimited tea/coffee. Bus station outside which was quiet so no problem. 10 mins walk from railway station. 3 floors but no lift. Very enjoyable stay. Wash basin plug drain tended to smell. Wondered if there was a ubend fitted.
Comfort, Staff, Location, Style
Location is great, close walk to shop, bars, etc.
Very good Indication that the hotel is opposite to the busstation at 't zand.
very friendly staff, location good with near by parking, pleasant enterior, clean and comfortable, excellent facilities. we had fantastic time and felt very relaxed. the hotel owner was very helpful and pleasant. would love to stay there again.
Staff very freindly and polite Front rooms in hotel very noisy with traffic also furniture could do with upgrading
Our room was rather small but dated. However the bathroom had been refurbished to a reasonable standard. The location was good but the establishment lacked the facilities normally found in 3 star hotels - for example, a bar.
The room was very cozy, and well kept. The staff was outstanding, and very attentive to all of our needs. I cannot think of one negative thing about this hotel.
Clean, comfortableand welcoming. Many good pubs and resaurants on the doorstep and only a short walk to the belfrey.
the hotel was welcoming, our room was comfortable and the staff friendly and co-operative. The breakfast timing enabled us to have a lie-in after travelling 13 hours the day before. The public areas were nicely furnished and maintained. no lift but we did'nt expect one in a small, old style building.
Wi-Fi was perfect unlike other places that say they have it. This actually worked quite well. Staff was friendly. Room was nicely remodeled. Bed was very comfortable. Great location too. While location is perfect. Don't try to drive to the hotel directly. The old city is a labrynth of narrow one way streets that our car's GPS couldn't navigate. We ended up parking at the main car park under the bus station which was just a short walk to the hotel.
