vennlig personale.
Dyr frokost
God service og utmerket beliggenhet og utsikt.Vi fikk 2 flasker vann daglig på rommet. Det var flott. Gode parkeringsmuligheter Badet virket noe slitt.
Utmerket beliggenhet midt i Bratislava.
Very good location in the city centrum :-)
Although its right in the centre of the city, it is very quiet as its based in a pedestrianised square. Very pleasant location overlooking cafes and restaurants across the square
I just loved it ... the hotel is just right in the spot as should be. In the right center of BA and with easy access everywhere .. clubs, bars, restaurants. I recommend this hotel with easy access form airport or from highway as I came by car and with parking of the hotel you don't need your car for all the period of the stay.
no shampo in bath 2 some one was nocking mz door 4pm
The old building is beautiful, as is the terrace for breakfast. The staff did their best, but see below for my sentiments on the fate of this beautiful hotel under Radisson management. A beautiful old hotel ruined by the insouciance of the Radisson group, which is quickly becoming the worse hotel chain around (of the better ones). One only hopes that the grand old lady which is the Carlton would be taken over by Kempinski, Starwood, Mandarin Oriental or other, which would give her the respect she deserves, as an old European hotel. The current way the hotel is run and decorated makes one sad.
Overall very expensive.
the location is perfect price is high
location is good. fitness room is too small.
Excellent location, close to old town and 10 min walk to Incheba concert Venue.
The big room, the wieuw and the staff Everything was perfect!
The staff were excellent and knowledgeable and multi lingual. Breakfast seemed quite expensive as it was notincluded in the price. The pillow was not comfortable and the room was stuffy.
Promotional offer , occupance of the hotel terrible ( 10% of the rooms ?) Normal price exceptional high ( courses A.S.o is the main income of the hotel)
Good location for a business trip, or a short trip to the city. I had a nasty slip and fall in the steam room and almost broke my ribs. The floor was very slippery, and the management didnt seem concerned to offer medical help or install rubber mats as a safety issue inspite of advising them. I had to cough up a substantial amount for the ambulance and the government hospital.
Very close proximity to the Old Town area of the city. The restaurant was very good. Hotel is in very good condition because it is new. Internet access was quite expensive.
Restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced Hidden expenses - airport transfer and city tax were extras. Breakfast cost more than evening meal.
Location is great. Very near old city but on main road. Great breakfast! Huge selection of good fresh food. Staff is very helpful and polite.
A great hotel in a great location
Clean and very comfortable
Good hotel, location just outside oldtown, clean with spacious rooms ideal for weekend break. Breakfast @18 euro is way to expensive just walk in to centre for much better value, Everything else was fine.
Chic decor. Close to old town and castle. Friendly, helpful staff. The duvet was too small for the bed.
Staff were very helpful. They gave us plenty of assistance and local information. The location is quite spectacular. At the time we stayed the gasline had been severed by work on shore. This meant that we had no hot water. As we were only staying one night we coped ok, and the staff were very accomodating.
it was in the boat that's coool and near to down town bad breakfast and not reallly nice rooom
location was very convenient beds were uncomfortable
Breakfast was, while not fancy or high quality, adequate and plentiful. The cabin itself was large enough to be comfortable. The location of the boat/boatel was definately of great advantage, only a few minutes walk to the historic centre. The cabins (or room) was in need of some work. The carpet, if you can call it that, was horrible, the matress depressingly thin and the bed, while a double (not two twins together) also short if you happen to above 6 foot tall, as are both myself and my girlfriend. Both the decor and the light fittings could definately use an overhaul. With some effort the rooms could be far more pleasant.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The situation on the Danube in the centre of Bratislava was excellent and provided easy access to the old town. The taxi ordered arrived on time. Where to start. That this was a former communist and controlling society was evident from the first. Long booking in form containing much unecessary and unwarranted information. Incredibly expensive for what was on offer. Decor generally was from the sixties or earlier in appearance. Carpet was thin and rucked. One chair was deeply stained. As I have a bad back the hard bed was reasonably welcome.
Good central location and helpful English speaking staff. The hotel was warm and clean (although a little shabby). I would probably stay there again but would hope to pay less for the room. They did not know we were coming but still found a room for us. It was a bit expensive for what we got. If the price was lower, we might not have been the only people who seemed to be staying there on the first night!!
Staff were very good, view from room superb, good breakfast menu. good sized rooms, very comfortable. It looked a bit shabby from the outside, could do with smartening up. Poor access from street.
Breakfast Noise during the night, bed...
Its location was very good the city center is a few minutes from the hotel. My room overlooked the Danube. The recepcionist spoke to me in Hungarian (when he found out my nationality). The restaurant overlooks the river. The staff were helpful and kind. The room was a bit cold.
near the old town carpets poor (spilled paint), very noisy (3am party-boat across the river), windows (dirty so you couldn't see out). Food cold - but prepared a warm (not hot) fried egg when asked (in broken Slovak)
Good Location!!! No Lifts at all as we have big luggage to carry all the way up to 3rd floor!Sink Choke in the room no. 4 and requested room change. unfriendly hotel staff responded no.
In mid of town
Very nice staff and very good position of the hotel - in the centre.
Its central location. Most of what was to be seen in Bratislava (the castle was closed for repairs) was within walking distance. No closet, but a piece of furniture with cobbyholes in which twernty-five tophats would have fit perfectly. Other odd bits of shelves and things in a large ill-painted room. The towel was threadbare. It was a long haul upstairs with my suitcase.
Silent and comfy room
It was convenient being in the middle of the city centre The noise below the hotel was awful, twice during the night i could hear bottles being moved about. They could also do with air conditioning.
The room was not comfortable at all. No glasses for drushing your teath or for drinking. One towel/person. No minibar. The lamps were not working on the nightstand. Over all the worst hotel I ever stayed at. Breakfast was not included, you could buy breakfast for 3 Euro, which was poor . The stairs to the hotel was steep and hard to clime with all your luggage. no help from the staff. I did not like anything about this hotel!
Great central location. It does eactly what we wanted in that it was cheap and centrally located. Dont expect the Ritz. Some of our friends were kept awake by the bar and bottles smashing.
receptionist was very nice perfect location extremely noisy area impossible to sleep well
The location was good. This hotel would be good for young, single men looking to party all night long. It was very noisy and there was a strip club at the ground floor open all night. Great for people interested in partying but not if you would like some peace and quiet.
Comfortable Bed, free breakfast, spacious common room, next to castle and old town The water pressure in the shower is too powerful, felt like it exploded when I first turned it on
Lovingly maintained hostel with a great staff. Located in a trendy, hipster neighborhood near the castle and within walking distance of old town.
