Impressive swimming pool and gym facilities
The hotel, services, spa, location was perfect. The view from the 15th floor through the window wall was just breathtaking. They changed us all the cosmetics and consumable staff in the bathroom every day. The position was just 2 min walking from the comercial Wanfujing street. The location was much far away from the Tien An Men square or Forbiden City than it seems on the map, but the subway is just under the hotel. The most unpleasent thing about this hotel is the fact that they ask you at the begining to make a money deposit as big as your stay plus 3-400 euro for different expanses in the hotel. We exceded the 3-400 euro extradeposit, and even if we still had to stay 3 more days for which we already payed the deposit, when they realise that we exceded the they called in the room at 23.30 to tell me to go to reception to pay 400 more euro. I refused at the begining telling them I will pay next morning, but they continued to call till I got down and payed. My wife couldnt sleep again for the rest of that night.
Good service , super location , unforgettable spa ! Super Hotel!!!!!
the front office staff need a training how to deal with the customers very bad attitude, unbelievable the check inn takes around 40 min and check out more than half an hour and the duty manager he’s not fit to the job at all
Bed was awesome! Not hard and uncomfortable as I found at almost every other hotel I stayed at. Bath tub was spacious. Location was great! A little on the pricy side, but for the bed, I would have no trouble paying the extra cash.
Outstanding service and location. The room was extremely comfortable. The hotel brunch had a wide variety of food that was excellent. Convenient subway station right next to hotel. I would definitely stay a the Regent again!!
A fine example of an international luxury hotel. Everything is at your fingertips.
The room was not clean enough.
The attention to detils, service and location
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The level of service is excellent and the cleanliness is great. Real luxury.
the room and the spa
Excellent. One pf the best hotels i have ever been in my life !
Super hotel with lots of facilities, nice room and excellent service. It's location were great with metro literary on the doorstep, short walk to several restaurants, and only a short taxi drive to Ya Show market and Sanlitun Village. Prices on breakfast and internet connection were a bit high.
Fantastic Location, great rate. The diffrence between and American managed five star hotel and a Chinese managed five star hotel is maintenance and cleanliness of the hotel.
location and sercives the airconditioning system. actuallty it does not have cool air coming out when expected. so i end up have to open the windows to let the fresh cool air in. thats the only thing im not satisfied with.
The star level for this hotel should be 3 stars. The bathroom is outdated and there's mildew between the title wall, the bathtub has black stains all over. Over all very disappointed!
Business rooms were much better than standard rooms, newly renovated and nice. Standard rooms were more like a 3star hotel. This hotel has an ideal location for Silk Market shopping, Forbidden City, Tiannamen, Wangfujing Street, within walking distance. Standard rooms were in need of renovations. Not a 4-5 star rated hotel.
They had an awesome rooftop bar.. With live guitar, fireplace outdoor deck with heaters.. Trendy but not annoyingly loud. Comfy intimate places to sit.. Can't say enough.. The room was clean, updated and comfortable. Free WiFi in the room. Was a short walk to forbidden city and T. Sq.. A couple malls nearby, McDonald's next door.. 7 11 a couple blocks away.. Get your western stuff including vodka, wine, snacks. Concierge was helpful, Front desk accomodating considering the only shocker that happened to us.. Got a confirmation number and payment withdrawal from my account. For our reservation only to arrive and was told that kayak cancelled my reservation.. Strange since they took the money. The hotel gave us last room, and settled with us after kayak returned the payment at the end of our 4 day stay. Could have been worse.. Kayak? No explaination.. No apology.. Go figure. And... Kayak got no commission.. Booked through hotel at same rate. Kayak reservation system.. Explained above Taxi in Beijing as westerner, impossible.. They want more than the meter.. If you can find one.. Hotel will get one.. Comming back.. Goodluck.. Plan to walk.
Excellent facilities. I stayed for eight nights over the Chinese New Year. The club lounge was nice and quiet, but the food variety stayed the same for all those days. The downstair restaurant was a bit noise with kids and families. Some of the doormen lacked enthusiasm for service. No one greeted me or helped with luggage, my brother did all of the loading unloading, which was a pity for a five star hotel.
The location is extraordinary, the lobby is very nice, the bed is very confortable, the staff is good. The price for the breakfast, tee, and drinks crazy, and totaly disproportion with the chinesse average.
Position of the hotel and pick up service rom the airport was impeccible. Non quite to the luxury standard of the bangkok or Hong Kong hotels. Not a complaint, just an observation.
This hotel was so luxurious. Although it was luxurious, it was not best.
Everything outside of the hotel. Not much.
Nothing special. It's a standard hotel we had dinner at the hotel restaurant, it was really bad and expensive. The buffet dinner was horrible.
. I was shocked to know that my booking was not in hotel's system until checkout date, although I informed them that the hotel already charge my creditcard for the first night.
Excellent location. Large rooms. Good, but expensive, laundry facilities. Bed was so hard it was like sleeping on concrete! Hotel currently under renovation, and drilling and hammering started at exactly 8am every day, and continued the whole day until 5pm! On check-in their credit card machine could not connect to the server, and reception staff kept me waiting there for over 30 minutes, blaming it on my credit card! Many staff have only very basic English. Expensive internet in rooms.

very good, but not "nice" language
Good value for money: very nice hotel surrounded by lots of restaurants, shops & markets, close to taxis, buses and underground (express airport train is at only one underground stop from Asia hotel). Great buffet breakfast, excellent staff, good facilities (conference rooms, fitness, swimming pool). Beautiful garden. The purpose of this night was for leasure but I stayed there late August a couple of weeks because of a diplomatic conference.
Clean, friendly, beautiful rooms, big rooms, good bathroom, restaurant was good, garden superb, housekeeping 2x a day Rooms were hot (30* is too hot)
The Food the Staff and the conveniance of the hotel no
The staff was helpful but not intrusive. The room was a nice generous size, attractive, and had everything I needed, including a few toilet items I had forgotten to bring. One chair was a bit too deep for comfortable sitting, but when I put a pillow behind me, it was just fine.
Good location. After a lot of complaints we got upgraded to a better room. The managers (som levels up) that we spoke to really wanted us to be satisified This is a chinese 5-star hotel not an international 5-star hotel. They are not used to international customers and our needs , they don´t understand english. It took a lot of time and energy to get things in the way we wanted them...
The staff was great, especially a guest relations manager at the front desk named Rex. He helped me transfer to a new room that was much better than the first one. I also liked the doorman. I don't know his name but he was from Shihjiazhuang. The hotel has a crazy layout and a noisy and unpleasant lobby. It's a very long walk from the front desk to the elevator. My room was very small despite the fact that I was told that as a Platinum member I got an upgrade. It was also 83 degrees with no way to lower the temperature. A real nightmare. I complained and was moved to another room that was cooler because it had two big windows that could be opened. The staff told me that they have this problem every Spring and every Fall when the temperature control systems are too hot or too cold compared to the outside air. Also, the executive lounge is in the lobby and very noisy.
The location is not very convenient and services do not correspond to a five star hotel.
It is widely spread hotel, with all lavish and grandeur in interiors.Stay, food, service level is upto the mark. na
I was upgraded to Executive Room upon checkin, a pleasant surprise as I was told the room was slightly bigger than the room I have booked. Room was tastefully decorated, the Ipod deck make the difference as I could just plug in my Ipod and enjoy my music in the room. Hotel was within 5 minutes walk to subway and train station, and is within 10 minutes taxi ride to Forbidden City and CBD area. Perfect! the in-room internet charge of RMB 120 was a little too high, could have been complimentary.
The relaxed atmosphere in the public areas. The executive lounge and the dining options.
We enjoyed the spa and swimming pool. And the staff was very helpful and very service minded. We did not like that a place like the Marriott turned off the air conditioning ,in the beginning of October, during the evening. We woke up sweating and that was not a pleasant experience for us. Our room was approximately 25 degrees celsius and we felt that was too hot. We called the service manager and he stated that they turn the ac off due to Chinese customers complaining that its too cold, Never mind the fact that there is a thermostat in each room so that everyone can control it.
