Staff was very friendly and made us feel so welcome. I really enjoyed kickback and there was plentyNot of space for us and two little ones! Def recommend! Nothing :) Was great!
We often travel between Texas and Colorado and vice-versa. The Drury Inn and Suites in Amarillo has become our standard overnight resting place. It is conveniently located, clean, and quiet. The popcorn machine in the lobby creates a smell of rancid grease throughout the ground-level and second floors of the hotel. I guess that some folks like the popcorn, but I'm not in that group.
My nephew and myself stayed here one nite while traveling back from Arizona. It was a newer location, great and courteous staff, clean, good complimentary breakfast.
We were so pleased with this new hotel! So convenient to dining and accesss to the interstate. The bed was absolutely the most comfortable I have ever slept on! We will always stay here when traveling through Amarillo!!
The hotel is easy to get to and has ample parking close by. The hotel is well designed and the staff make each guest feel welcome. We'd definitely stay here again.
The staff was beyond helpful. The hotel was spotless, and the bed was so comfortable it felt like it was hugging me. When I am in the city again, I will stay there.
We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others. The rooms were clean, the bed very comfortable, and the location was ideal for us!
We weren't expecting much from this hotel b/c of the location, but we were pleasantly surprised. It is very nice, with great rooms, good service and a good breakfast with lots of variety. If we ever have to go back to Amarillo again, we'll definitely return.
Beautiful new hotel. We could not believe we were in A Holiday Inn Express Suites. It's beautifully appointed from the Lobby to the rooms. Love it here!
We spent the night here after traveling 600 miles across two time zones from Flagstaff. The room was big, clean, inviting, with plenty of counter space in the bathroom, good water pressure, comfortable bed and pillows, good heating/air conditioning, with indoor pool, exercise room, wireless Internet and excellent breakfast. Within walking distance of a Texas Roadhouse restaurant (a chain started in Indiana, of all places) that served an excellent Texas steak. I would definitely stay here again.
I only stayed for one night, but despite the 'Express' name, it was a fine place to stay. The room was very large and was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was large and well appointed with a porcelain tub and plenty of room, The location is close to I40 but not immediately on the frontage road (It's behind a Texas Roadhouse). The desk clerk told me the hotel was build in 2005, but it looked brand new inside and out. The neighborhood isn't scary either. There was a decent free breakfast that included sausage patties, biscuits and sausage gravy plus the usual rolls. The only downside is that it is a little pricier than some of the other motels in Amarillo but you get what you pay for. All in all I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room.
One of the best hotels in the area and very clean
Nothing. Never made it to the room. The front desk help. They could not make you individual keys. They had someone escort you to your room and had to key you in with a master key. Their key machine had been flooded 3 WEEKS prior to our stay. The front desk lady said it was not their fault. When asked why this information was not given when reservations were made she got mad and told me she was going to cancel my reservation and asked me to leave the property. Very unprofessional!!!!!!!!!
The staff on duty when we arrived was excellent. Isabelle was friendly, pleasant and helpful. The location was convenient. The room was quiet and comfortable. The bathroom ceiling had a leak which we discovered after we had unpacked. We did not want to change rooms so we didn't mention it until check out. The leak was not new...there were several patches on the ceiling! The breakfast staff and another staff member were blocking access to the breakfast while they chatted...twice I had to ask them to move. The stairwell carpets are all in need of replacement. There are signs for vending machines which do not exist. There is a little shop for drinks (not sure about anything else) near the front lobby. This was discovered after all floors were checked for vending machines as per signs.
Close to shopping and recreation. Hot tub wasn't hot, it was filled with very cold water. Shower was warm, not hot.
The staff was pleasant and friendly. The breakfast was substantial and there was plenty of seating room. Loved the Texas shaped waffles. We were only there overnight as we stopped to let a snow storm pass and left early the next morning. We booked a king room and were given two queen beds. I verified with the clerk that it was a king room. She said, "Yes, you are in a king room." By the time we got up to the room, we were too tired to argue. One of the first things we noticed was that the carpet was not clean. It looked as if it had not been vacuumed since the last guest. The lamps were unplugged as the on/off switches were missing or broken. We had bend down and reach under the tables to plug them in. We have always had a good experience at Comfort Suites and were surprised by this experience.
Everything. I was pleased with everything. The value was good and the facilities, location and amenities were great. Couldn't think of anything.
Location & breakfast Lady at the front desk was rude. Told us we didn't have a reservation when I gave her the conformation number. I also gave her my first and last name several times. I had to get KAYAK to call her to prove we had reservations. Our room was loud with thin walls and ceiling. A/C didn't work. The window was open when we got the room. Front desk said only room available.
Location is close to shopping and medical. Breakfast food was good. Noisy lobby that spilled into room, thin walls. Tiny bathroom, hair on floor from previous guests. Small, worn bath towels, beds are too firm. Coffee tastes terrible.
The staff was good except for the cleaning lady that kept waking us up. The room was nice and clean but our comforter had unknown stains and it was never clean. They had a great breakfast and a nice pool. It's a little outside the city but nicely located near the mall and highway!!
Clean and neat. Great breakfast. Coming in from the west late at night, it was difficult for me to find the entrance. The two gals at the front desk were not friendly, did not mention anything about breakfast, and appeared to be more interested about carrying on their conversation than striving to make us feel welcome. That bothered me all night.
Facility was well kept and staff was friendly and professional. Location was convenient and quiet.
The staff, the rooms, breakfast, the facilities, pool and hot tub were great.
Location Very dusty furniture, stained carpet and furniture, torn sheet. Needs a good cleaning. The breakfast was lame. They ran out of things very early.
Beds, pillows, clean room. Stairway, hallway needed vacumming
not much. maybe comfortable beds, after having to change rooms do to sheets having hairs all in both of them. a real pain. won't go back. hairs in sheets, not clean. lady never brought sheets so we went back to the front and asked for another room. she said that she often has to give people clean sheets, she said she doesn't know about what the cleaning staff does!!!!!! hello, tell the manager. continental breakfast - pretty much all the others do hot ones. we tried the other Baymont in Amarillo the next week - terrible! wrong receipt, phone wasn't even connected because the cord was laying on the floor completely broken, so no phone, pool empty - the only reason we went to this hotel was so the kids could swim, they should have put that on website.
Comfortable room and beds. No elevator, thin bath towels that tore upon use.
The location was convenient to the highway. Lack of outlets next to bed to plug in cell phone. Pillow way to soft and too thin. Housekeeping not performed one day upon my return but tip taken. Too many "sweet" alternatives for breakfast.
Low price and friendly staff Our bathtub didn't drain (we had to use the shower in a room on the other end of the hotel) and the bathroom wasn't very clean.
Good full breakfast. Food was good and plentiful. Wifi was terrible. We had to re-connect every few minutes. It quickly became an annoyance. This wouldn't be good for a business person.
The price was a little worried but definitely not worth it. I will never stay in the Baymont Hotel again. The room was filthy, the bath water was brown, the linens had crusted junk from the previous occupant on them, etc. terrible experience! In the lobby, many guests were complaining in the same manner as I was.
Baymont Inn is a good overall place to stay...especially if you have a dog and can stay on the first floor near an exit. The hotel recently installed new door keys. The first evening they did not work, the receptionist was most accommodating and simply rekeyed the card. Problem solved. The next morning the key did not work. The lady behind this desk this time insinuated that the problem was me...it wasn't. Once she re-set the card it worked fine. I hope the hotel gets the key problem solved.
nothing Although I had made a non-refundable reservation through another website--selecting a certain bed type and non-smoking--when I called before arriving to confirm, I was told that they gave away the room with 2 beds to guests who arrived first and that a non-smoking room was no longer available. This was a non-refundable reservation, so I had to find another place to stay and pay for both--am still waiting for a refund from the outside source--who was able to confirm that the original reserved room type was not available. So, if you do not book directly, they do not care about your reservation.
Nothing The staff told me to find another place because they overbooked and the manager on duty was literally on a speedy drug. The floor of the room was not cleaned before we went in, bugs were present and the siding was falling out.
The only good thing about this hotel is the location in front of the hotel there's very good bar b que but there's more better hotels around that area better good luck you going to need it All the rooms were all dirty full of dust and the restroom the toilet had rust ring plus the shower was full of hair and the water always came on hot then after few seconds very cold. The bed was old and the white sheets was very dirty with pee stains. Most of the lights didn't work. Don't stay I warned you pay little more some were else
nothing the rooms was infested with roaches had to get another hotel, horrible place
Semi demolished, weed ridden parking lot. Greeted by cigarette and cigar smoke in clouds. Peeling paint. Empty fountain. Overgrown foliage. Bare fluorescent lights. Stained. Hard bed, Holey sheets/comforter. Bare electrical system. Brown Leaking tub.
The price was great. I liked that they provided breakfast. We didn't stay long enough to use the pool or hot tub, but they looked to be decent. The room was very spartan.

Roomy; lots of space Trash everywhere in parking lot! Need more receptacles or people gonna leave trash in landings, steps, etc
Nothing Kids we're not allowed to play in the pool they had to be quiet in the afternoon. The fact that we had to put $100 cash deposit down just because my parents lived in the same town and they are the ones that made the reservation
Air-conditioning did not work. No hot water. Pool was disgusting.
friendly help. good breakfast. Carpet stained and old comforter and curtains old no clock , old tv bad reception on tv, pillows bad no coffee in room refrigerator old.

First given a room with a leak in ceiling with a bucket full of water under it in middle of room. Chair in room was filthy with stains. Switch rooms not much better ripped up carpet and TV not working
It wasn't actually dirty. I checked the sheets carefully and they were clean and pleasant smelling. it was extremely old, run down, and uncared for. other guests were extremely loud til the wee hours of the morning.I should have read the reviews before I booked the room, but I'm too trusting i guess.
Nothing. Filthy room, Filthy pool & hot tub.

Great staff, and is located very close to work. No, everything was exceptional.
Close to highway. Full size kitchen.
Love having a refrigerator and microwave. Room is spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Not the hotel's fault, but it smelled like manure outside a couple of mornings! Crazy!

Great location, plenty of parking. Morning front desk employee unprofessional. She started complaining about other employees in front of guest, i had to ask her to make more coffee. She did make it, but didnt stock any condiments and left muffin basket empty.
A continental breakfast was advertised but their coffee pots were both broken and they were totally out of oatmeal packets and only had a few other items. There were no other drinks offered and no coffee in our room either.
Honestly I paid a very very low room rate.. I was expecting the worse case environment and I was shocked that wasn't the case. Friendly staff and honestly I would recommend this hotel.if u got to stay awhile and just looking for a good environment to rest Wifi.
It was better than the price. It was a generic room but you can't beat it for the price. Needs a wake up call service. The person at the front desk stated she didn't have the phones set up for wake up calls but other hotels actually call up to the room.
Ease of access and location to the highway. Slight hint of the feedlots on the air; broken banister in the stairwell.
Nice Lobby. Breakfast was substandard and had insufficient seating. The phone in the room did not work. Three of four light bulbs were burnt out. Their "luxury" complimentary toiletries were a joke.
My room on the 3rd floor looked like it was freshly renovated with new carpet, bedding and bathroom. The hot breakfast was scrambled eggs, sausage and two pieces of toast. A great place to rest your head! The speed of the Wi-Fi was horrendous. Don't come here to do business because the internet connection is bogged down by everyone.
Our first room was horrible but the front desk person did switch us. Second room was better and newly updated sort of. Before we were moved the room was hot the AC was broken. The bed was lumpy and sank in the middle. We had a outside door and the people next to us were hanging out by our door and loud. The breakfast was cold and tasteless. The hotel does not look like its photos. Over all I would not stay there again.
Nice, clean, friendly No problems
Quiet They took the breakfast up at 9:00. It's such a large place it took us a while to find it, so by the time we got there at 9:05 it had been removed. Most motels keep the breakfast until 10:00 which is more reasonable. The only thing I was able to get was lukewarm coffee. No adjustment on the room rate either.
AC worked. Hotel is older and not very well maintained. Beds very uncomfortable. Bathrooms have stains. Soap was not included (?!). Just 2 little packets of bath gel.
Staff very friendly, included hot breakfast was nice Not the most comfortable bed, but sheets were clean + no real complaints.
Great hot breakfast, giant bed, good location, and cheap. Rundown, 20 years past due for renovation, transients in the parking lot, walk down those loooong spooky hallways that are half lit night and day, with random open and dark old rooms, water leaks near the old ice machines, and of course a few roaches here and there..If you venture to stay there is a friendly skeleton crew and a nice entry but walk a little further and explore and you'll understand why you wouldn't want to be there in a zombie apocalypse.
The A/C in the room worked well, was able to get the room nice and cold in a decent amount of time. There's plenty of parking. The hotel is obviously in the process of redoing some of the rooms to make it nicer but they really shouldn't put guests in the rooms they haven't gotten to yet. The room I was in had 5 pillows for two queen beds. All but one of the pillows were super lumpy and unusable. The bed itself was comfortable though. The bathroom mirror had some damage at the bottom. The toilet was not bolted to the ground properly and would move when sitting on it. If you looked around the back of the toilet you could also see calcium deposits and other such stuff from water having leaked from the base of the toilet because it was not bolted properly. The bathroom door had layers of paint or wood that were separating and looked very bad. If you were to go over by the A/C unit you'd see that the carpet did not go all the way to the wall that the unit was place in. There was also a lamp between the two beds that was not plugged in and had no way of being plugged in as the outlets where only in the corners of the room. Many of the stairs I used looked semi-bent in the middle if they were made out of metal and some of the ones made out of stone were falling apart so much so that you could see the rebar that was placed inside the stone. That seems a bit dangerous to me. The breakfast was edible but not very good. 2 pieces of toast (only toasted on 1 side), 2 pieces of sausage and some eggs. They have a machine that dispenses water and 3 kinds of juice. I tried the orange juice, it tasted like cough medicine.
We didn't like anything. It was dirty smelly, and the staff was rude. We checked back out after only 10 minutes and went to motel 6 down the road. We were still charged for one night which was crazy since we were only there 10 mineuts. Every thing ! I took pictures of torn up carpet, walls with paint scraped off and bugs in lights. Windows were so dirty you couldn't see out of them. The phone didn't even have buttons on it they were all broke off.
Fantastic price. Excellent location. Close to lots of restaurants.
Original price Did not have the room I booked available. Made me pay $25 more per night to get the original room I booked. Complete rip of. Will never go back there.
Nice and clean, and great beds
AC unit worked great. Location was not close to the airport. At least 5 miles away.
The staff tried to help The T.V. did not work in our first room, the staff was very good trying to get it figured out. They finally moved us, thd new room still had trash on the floor bathtub was filthy therd was no soap or shampoo. They had no other rooms available, i was very disappointed
The price. The A/C unit wouldn't keep a constant temperature.
Absolutely nothing! Actually I did like that I could easily get on the highway from there and get the heck out of town! We were told when we finally checked in after midnight, that there were only smoking rooms available even though we had booked a non-smoking. They let us know that they had been aware of this problem several hours earlier, but didn't think to call and let us know. The box spring had a giant brown stain on it and everything was just dirty enough to make your skin crawl. Couldn't sleep with the smell of cigarettes in our room, so we left early with no sleep, headaches, and allergies. Overall, we were totally disgusted by this place.
Friendly employees My shower didn't drain at the rate for which the water was flowing. So I stood in water for my shower. I got into the hotel at 2am and woken up by the trash truck banging metal trash cans around. I went outside to see what was going on and found some hotel guests doing the same thing. Very unpleasant.
The beds were comfortable and staff was pleasant. It was Easy to find and located close to the freeway. Found pubic hairs on my towel and the bathroom had not been cleaned well (spots on sink, mirror, and bathtub grimy.) The carpet was newer but had not been vacuumed and furniture was dusty.
The bed was comfortable. People loudly fighting in the parking lot area of either the La Quinta or one of the surrounding businesses at 1 am. Uninterested staff. Room was not that clean. Bathtub drain did not work properly, water was ankle deep after 1 shower and took an hour to drain so the next person had to shower in the previous persons water. Reported this to the staff and they said it was because so many people were taking showers??? Yeah right, it happened at midnight. Sounds like you know this is an issue and have thought up an excuse rather than bothering to fix it. The motel was completely booked but only has a handful of tables for people to eat breakfast. Why would you advertise a free breakfast then only have a place for a few groups to actually eat?
Easy to get to, cheap, Denny's next door.
Location Outlets not working too small crowded
First time staying at Red Roof. I was a very good value. Looking for a place that would provide clean, a non-smoking room & comfortable bed, that was & felt safe. Met our needs. Will use Red Roof again.
Sleeping was about it. Good access to highway. The extended electrical was a hazard. The cleanliness poor. Staff fair at best, they were sitting on the counter when I walked I in and didn't bother to move.
It was cheap. I had low expectations because of the price. I just wanted a clean room for my family to sleep in. It was gross. My sons feet were black from walking on the floor barefoot. The floor hadn't been mopped in ages. My sister's room had a booger stuck to the back of the bathroom door, and reeked of cigarette smoke. There was hair in the sink and bathtub. We had to go to the store for Clorox wipes to feel comfortable using the bathroom. Cigarette burn holes in the bedding in both rooms. I won't go cheap again. You get what you pay for.
The location was good and had great access to the highway. The price was great for a good place to stay for the night. I had to park my trailer in the back lot, but they gave me an upstairs room in the front of the motel. There was hardly anyone at motel. The laminate wood floors were kind of interesting and I could feel my neighbor walking in his room.
Nothing The Hotel is located in a very seedy part of Amarillo, TX. We had to wait 15 minutes to check-in as there was only one staff member on duty. We were expecting a smoke-free room, upon opening the door we were overwhelmed by the smell of stale cigarette smoke and a room that was stifling hot. Upon inspection of the room we found dead bugs lying on the bathroom floor and towels, face cloths and wash cloths for 2, when we had advised and booked for 3 adults. When requesting additional were advised that the hotel was out of additional bathroom towels etc. until the next day. The bedding that was used on our beds the 2nd day had fresh blood on the sheet. The breakfast provided was of such poor quality and the breakfast room so dirty and unclean we opted to go out for our morning meal rather than take the chance of becoming ill from the food and/or the open, overflowing trash containers. The Hotel, as a whole is dirty, and desperately needs to be closed until it has had a COMPLETE overhaul and a clean bill of health from the health department. Wyndham Hotel group needs to visit both of the Baymont's located in Amarillo and close them until they are redone to a much higher standard or better yet level them, as they are 20 years past their use by date.
Location was good for us the hotel was very old looking and dirty the carpets looked 20 years old back door wouldn't close securely
Breakfast very good Needs updating
It was a comfy bed to sleep in after a long road trip and they had a good breakfast in the morning. For the price, it was good. When I called I was told they were booked for the night even though I had just looked them up online. I then went back online and booked a room after hanging up... I didn't have a problem checking in but noticed that the woman who walked in right behind me wasn't even acknowledged and had to wait about 10 minutes while I checked in and stand there awkwardly. I thought that was rude that the front desk didn't even tell her they would be right with her, or ask the other employee I saw sitting in the office to assist. Once in the room, our fridge didn't work and neither did the shower. I had to wash my hair over the running water in the tub.
Beds were clean. Staff was friendly. Many restaurants nearby. Easy to find. Easy to access. Front is covered and wide. The doors to the rooms have huge gaps at the bottom. The gap lets in lots of light and sound from the hallway. The radio in the room kept popping randomly for no reason while it was off. If you're a light sleeper, there is no sleep to be had. The water would run in our shower when the unit above was taking a shower. I called two days ago about possibly leaving items in the room and haven't been called yet after I was told I would be called.
Very filthy -old fixtures and furnishings-bad beds. Would never recommend this hotel
Breakfast was good The room was dank and smelly. The faucet in the tub could not be adjusted for heat of the water. The carpet was damp.
We arrived at 12:03 am and had given our room away. Which I guess was a good thing after all. While I was waiting for my to check us in a lady approached and said they were leaving . They had a room that had not been cleaned and we're going to change sheets themselves and found bed bugs. So I don't reccommend this place. Lucky for us we went right across the interstate and found a great place.
For the price, it's not a bad place to stay for a night. The staff was attentive in the middle of the night and a warm breakfast is available in the morning. The room appeared to be prepared very quickly. There were only blankets on the bed with no bed cover. The visit was during mid winter and the room heater took quite some time to warm the space.
Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Desk staff who was unhelpful with out payment transaction. Staff member who YELLED at us as we attempted to get ice from the ice machine.
Good water pressure. Friendly staff. Very dirty and outdated
Location was the only plus, as we wanted a hotel closer to the canyon. Housekeeping could not keep up with the busy weekend. Our rooms were so dirty at arrival, we requested to change rooms to another "cleanish" room. To be fair, they were in the middle of updating the hotel, but cleanliness issues had nothing to do with the renovations. If you have no choice but to stay at the Ventura location, make sure you get a very low price, or you will feel cheated. Or wait until the renovations are complete, and hopefully they will have resolved their housekeeping issues
there was trash still in the room. empty pizza box and dirty plates. also no remote and the breakfast was limited.
Location to restaurants and stores. The hotel looks new from the outside, however it is deceiving. Upkeep of hotel could be better. Mattress covers aren't washed, had old blood stain and hairs all over. Walls have lots of stains. Ketchup splatter on walls not cleaned. Pool area had bad odor.
Room was nice.. Check in counter was a lil rude upon arrival..
I didn't bother to check in when I pulled up and saw the poor condition of the motel. I drove on to Tucumcari and found a better, safer motel to stay in. I lost my non-refundable pre payment, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.
The front desk employee was nice. Air conditioner was cold. The room was run down with broken drawers and chairs. The shower was horrible and bathroom was tiny.
TREzATED very rudely by the desk clerk, kimi upon checking in she stated that I didn;t have a reservation and I politely showed her my confirmation number from you. Still was handled very rudely
Nothing - the outside was nice, the inside was retro 1980 - and very cramped especially the bathroom. They did not have our reservation in their system. It caused us to worry as we were driving and the room was overpriced for what we received - a small low grade room.
King room with kitchen, clean, staff was friendly and fixed us up with the correct room after being given the wrong room, easy to find Being given wrong room booked a superior king non smoking but was given a double smoking, breakfast had very few choices, bed was very firm
The quality of the room. the fact that I couldn't get wireless internet during the day.
convenient, clean, comfortable
I loved the room it was very comfortable. I liked the all night snack pantry. Staff was friendly and helpful I was upset that room service was only for dinner from 5-9. I would have loved to have room service for breakfast
Beautiful hotel wonderful staff only thing is breakfast should be included for the price you pay.
Great prices nice and clean Sheets weren't very soft
The Price was a plus and the Breakfast was ok. The stuffy smell as you walked in and the hair in the drain of the shower but overall I would stay again and look for that hotel in other cities.
There was a used bandage on the floor when I got there. A spider crawled on my bed. No coffee pot in room, and the only coffee offered was in the morning and out of a machine.
The front desk staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. The AC worked wonderfully-very nice after the TX heat ;). The beds were very comfortable. When we needed a crib for our son they had one and they brought it right away. I would stay here again. The room was a little small (but we did have 3 adults and two kids in cribs) and breakfast could be improved a little.
Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Price was good. Could easily hear tv and loud conversation in room next door.
Good breakfast, for the price it had the cleanliness and comfort you'd expect. Not real nice, not the worst. I was (at first) very happy about the facilities in relation to what we paid. It in a horrible Neighborhood! very sketchy, tons of homeless creepy people running around. Woke up to see my car window busted out. We really can't afford to get that fixed! This will cost nearly $400 and we had to drive all the way home to Oklahoma with a plastic sheet over it. They have no security cameras. The only help we were given was a list of glass repair places. No sorry. I would at least give a discount, or hell, even a free stay. To top it off, the glass place told me they get lots of business from this hotel. Beware
Room was clean and comfortable, rate was great, location convenient to restaurants, highways, and downtown The only problem was the wireless connection. It was awful, so I really couldn't do some of the work I was planning to do in the room.
Cheap and good location. It was loud and our room was dirty. For example, our comforter had a giant, mysterious, yellow stain.
Recently remodeled, simple plain clean and inexpensive. Desk clerk gave good local restaurant advice.
Location was good. Room was a decent size. Air conditioning didn't work - & it was only 78 degrees in Amarillo. No fan was available. Desk clerk didn't have access to look up my Wyndham number, nor did she have a key to the office where there was a fan. Carpet was wet - not just damp, it was soggy near the window but not in front of the "air conditioner". Breakfast was all crabs except a few frozen things you could nuke - but they were either wrapped or in the middle of crabs themselves.
Very comfortable rooms and bed No issues
Walls too thin--could hear the person in next room coughing all night. Not worth the price paid.
We liked the spacious and distinct interior design - and included breakfast (and supper). High standard throughout - above average for this grade of hotel (a sense of occasion). 1. We got double-charged for using the Games option in our hotel room. We will ask for a refund of this on our return visit in a few days time. 2. There was no prior information that there was a complementary buffet supper on offer between 5pm-7pm. If we had known we would have arrived earlier.!
Complimentary dinner on weeknights with beer on wine. Can you beat that? I was pleasantly surprised here. The pool was closed for maintenance, which wasn't really that big of a deal. I guess if I had been staying longer it would be an issue.
The receptionist at the front was great. Our non-smoking room heavily smelled like smoke. We left and found another hotel.
We checked in after a long day of driving and left right after breakfast the next morning. Staff was friendly at check in and out. Good breakfast, waffles, biscuits and gravy, the regular cereal/toast. Room was clean and comfortable. A newer tv was hanging on the wall, but the old tv cabinet was still in the room, which was awkward. It was scooted over to the corner and then nothing was under the new tv. I guess nothing was wrong with it, it just looked funny.
Was expecting more for $100. a night. Needed updating, cheap bedding and towels. Looked kind of dirty.
Good location, relatively clean. Polite staff Older beds. Worn out mattress
Easy access to interstate. Good if you need a cheap, quick layover with low expectations. Thin windows led to lots of road noise being on the interstate. In room A/C unit cycled oddly and was not able to provide white noise to cover road noise.
