The Parador is located in the historical town of Tui, on the border with Portugal. On the banks of the Mino river near the bridge which crosses into Portugal. 1206FG. Like the Paradors of Monterrei, Cambados or Bayona, this hotel imitates the typical Galician manor house in the country. Preceded by a "cruceiro" (cross), the building was constructed with granite and chesnut-tree wood in 1968 and refurbished later on. The powerful tower stands out and underneath the main door. The hotel occupies a site most adequate for hunting and fishing fans, but also a place of rest for those who seek tranquility in the valley of Mino. The hotel is housed in a rural galician country house.
