Not physically a part of the Caribbean (it is 600 miles too far north), Bermuda is a glorious archipelago of lush islands which have retained their natural beauty splendidly despite European settlement and immense tourism. Bermuda boasts some of the cleanest and most efficient roads and neighborhoods of all the islands in this sector of the world, and while technologically up to par with any first-world country, is not inundated with fast food or slums. If anything, the islanders are a more conservative sort, and avid church-goers, and they keep their homes tidy. With excellent dining and shopping all throughout the island's nine parishes, as well as tons of activities above and below water, Bermuda is one country which should be on everyone's checklist.
