Loated in Marfa, Texas, population 2400, lovely historic, 2 story, victorian adobe decorated with South American colonial art and european antiques. Four large and lovely rooms upstairs that share 2 baths. There is a large graveled patio at the rear of the property with a spanish fountain, herb harden and metal garden sculptures. Adjacent to the patio there is a historic territorial style cottage. This large cottage is decorated with furniture from the family ranch and contains two large bed rooms with private baths, a living room, a kitchen and a private patio. A full southwestern style breakfast is included with the room rate. Chef owners provide marvelous dinners by reservation only (required 48 hour advance notice) on friday and saturday evenings. The inn is located in the orginal marfa town site (4 blocks square around the courthouse) in the historic district and walking distance to many points of interest, the historic 1886 presidio county courthouse and square is just one block east of the inn. The chinati foundation and the judd foundation are also located nearby. These are world renowned contemporary art collections that are visited throughtout the year and are free to the public.
