This is one of the oldest and busiest hotels on the island. The bars and grill room is a must for all that visit the island. This hotel has a late licence which is used to the advantage of the locals so a great place to meet up and make new friends. The hotel is currently extended its facilities with the addition of extra bar and restaurant, there will be minimum disruption. The development program will take place until the end of February 2007(IT 05/06) The exterior is a medium sized blue building which from first sight does not do the hotel justice. However, a pleasant surprise await once you have entered the main doors. The hotel is situated overlooking the harbour and yacht marina. Only a short walk away is the town centre and the main pedestrian shopping precinct of King Street, the markets, and Post Office. The sport and leisure complex of Fort Regent, that dominates the skyline above St. Helier, and is only short distance away and can easily be reached by walking. Buses to all parts of the island are available from outside the front of the hotel. Within walking distance are the sandy beaches of St. Aubin's Bay and Havre des Pas. The Jersey Tourism Office is opposite the hotel.,
