There is a continuous ferry service, linking Ceuta with continental Spain. Though the building is of modern construction, the hotel did conserve the ancient vaults of the Parque de la Artilleria, for use as suites. The building is set amongst spacious gardens. The cathedral, town hall and the church of Nuestra Senora de Africa stand in the same square as the hotel. The hotel is located in the bustling centre of the city, known as the Plaza de Nuestra Senora de Africa.This monumental space has teh santisima Cathedral church to the right, the Municipal Palace opposite, an the Nuestr Senora de Africa sanctuary ans the Commander's Headquarters to the left.
