Auckland International Airport is located about 21km from Auckland's city center and serves many airlines from all over the world. Auckland International is the main airport when traveling to New Zealand. Drivers in New Zealand drive on the left side of the road, so keep this in mind when you are deciding whether to rent a car or use public transportation. To get to the airport, take Southern Motorway. Use the Gillies Avenue exit and follow the signs from the exit to Auckland International Airport.

The Domestic Terminal serves Qantas, Air New Zealand, and other regional airlines operating flights within New Zealand. A wide range of services and amenities are available for passengers using the Domestic Terminal including baby feeding and changing areas, baggage trolleys, and medical/first aid services.
International Terminal
The International Terminal of Auckland International Airport is for airlines operating international flights out of New Zealand. Air New Zealand operates flights to the U.S., which land in San Francisco and Los Angeles, where passengers can meet connecting flights to other U.S. destinations. The International Terminal has a number of services and amenities as well as shops and restaurants for the convenience of passengers.
