A friendly, non smoking, family hotel located in the city centre of Amsterdam, with the Rijks- & Van Goghmuseum nearby and the famous Amsterdam nightlife within walking distance. The hotel is located in a building built in 1892, but has been completely renovated and equipped with all modern conveniences, whilst retaining its friendly atmosphere. A shuttle bus from Schiphol Airport is charged at € 14, 50 one way (2007). Although fully renovated and restored, and including a lift in the main building, the 19th-century building maintains much of its original character and has a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. This also means we can offer a unique range of accommodation, from more economical basic rooms right through to luxury en-suite. Children are welcome (we can provide cots and high-chairs). All our rooms are equipped with television, telephone and safe, and hairdryers and kettles are available from the reception. At reception there is an internet-terminal, which is available for our hotel guests.. Please note that this hotel doesn't accept group bookings of 7 people or more. However, it is possible to request a group booking at this hotel via our group department(groups@easytobook.com). Please note: When payment is done by credit card the hotel will charge 4%! .
